Nancy “Nan” Godbee

Bob Godbee called me this morning to share the sad news of the death his beloved wife, Nan.

Bob and I, along with three close family members, gathered around Nan’s bed at Kaplan House yesterday and recited together with her The Lord’s Prayer.

Nan died peacefully later that evening.

Nan humbly requested that there be no funeral service at the church.   The family will observe a quiet memorial in the weeks to come.

Hold Bob in your prayers, please, as we say good-bye to Nan, a longtime member of a parish she loved deeply.

God’s peace,
